There’s a type of shark in Cancun that can ruin your vacation, if you let it, OR it can help pay for your trip! I’m talking about “time share sharks”, and they are the ever-present men and women who seem innocently helpful enough until they invite you to visit their resort for an hour and a half. The way to handle this, for a lot of people, is take them up on their offer during your Cancun vacation, but insist on more than just a boat trip and a bottle of tequila. They WILL pay you up to several hundred dollars for your time if you negotiate that way. Just say “no” to every sales pitch, and they’ll let you loose with cash!
