I have seriously wanted to get away with my husband for about three months now and it’s long overdue to have some time together. My hubby is an executive chef for a high end boutique lodge, located up in Northland and I have my own business from home. The problem with having a partner who works in hospitality is that you do not get to see much of them as they work long, hard hours. Anyhow, he came home last night and stated that he had tentatively booked a week in a luxury homestay taupo, so you could imagine my happy and surprised response. I can’t wait to visit Taupo and also do some kayaking out on the lake. I was really impressed with his proactive approach.
