The new nav app for the iPhone
Technology September 6th. 2009, 4:05amThe new Tom Tom iPhone GPS Navigation app is now here, and it is coming to more countries soon. After a release in other regions this weekend, TomTom at last debuted the North American version of its iPhone GPS app. The title mimics the turn-by-turn navigation of a dedicated GPS unit says R4i SDHC, displaying directions on a quasi-3D view alongside other information such as the estimated travel times. The North American edition covers “99.9 percent” of the US and Canada, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, wow how awesome is that? Very awesome if you ask us. Too bad it is a lot of cash.
