Obtaining My LPN Degree
Reference June 8th. 2009, 5:56amI had always wanted to work in the medical field. I just was not sure what area of medicine would fit my personality. After volunteering at a local hospital, I soon realized that nursing was what was drawing me in. However, I needed to get into the work force soon and begin earning a paycheck. I opted for an LPN degree. It took about one year of school, then I sat for and passed the NCLEX-LPN and now am employed as an LPN in that very hospital where I used to volunteer. The best part is that I plan to continue my education as soon as I am caught up on some bills.
