Can You Buy Real Acai Berry?
Reference May 27th. 2009, 10:58amWith the recent craze for acai berries going around the world, many people have decided that acai supplements or drinks are not good enough for them and they want the real fruit right off the tree. Unfortunately, it is impossible to buy real acai berry straight off the tree. The amazing little fruit only grows in the Amazon rain forest in Brazil and it loses it’s nutrients twenty four hours after it is picked. Therefore it is almost impossible to export it successfully and the cost involved would be so high that no companies would do it because they would not be able to sell it.
