Two young boys, together with their mothers, were on their way to a gift shop to buy magic cards. Everyone else at school had these amazing cards and were always pulling them out of their bags at recess to show and trade. They couldn’t believe it had taken them this long to finally convince their mothers to let them join in the game. They could hardly contain their excitement! They finally got to the little gift shop where the cashier was just pinning up a “Sold Out” sign above an empty display case. The boys looked at each other, horrified. One of the mothers consulted the cashier informing her of their reason for being there. The cashier looked at the boys’ crestfallen faces and smiled. There were exactly two boxes left. The next day at school, the boys joined the game and shouted, “Let’s trade!”
