A small business ran locally requires a lot of hard work to expand. First of all, you need to have a network of associates to help you advertise your product and lastly you need a consistent customer base so no matter what you still sell something at the end of the day.

A lot of starting and inexperienced businessmen underestimate the power of local business marketing in influencing the future of their business. Most people opt to really expensive strategies while in fact only their case only the local base should be nurtured. Remember, once you have a loyal mass base reaching for a higher target would be easier.
