My kids had been asking us to get a dog for years, and last year we finally relented. We chose our dog based on his breed and temperament, and we knew that he would need some guidance if he was going to fit into our busy household. We signed up for a Dog Obedience Training class, and even the kids were welcome to attend. Our entire family learned some basic commands that were essential, and the trainer was very patient and effective. After only a month of classes, he was doing very well, and even the trainer said that she was impressed with his progress. Our dog is the best!
