Previous to Selling Websites on Flippa, for a number of people our website auction

knowledge would have been via eBay. Now there’s quite a lot of debate and misunderstanding

regarding the idea that Flippa, although not dissimilar to appearances, is quite a bit

different to  buying and selling on eBay..

The significant dissimilarity between eBay and Filippa is that in using eBay, purchasers and

sellers hold a good idea of the price of what goods they are trading.

Many buyers and sometimes sellers approach Filippa asking “What in all honesty is trading on here truly worth?”

On eBay, when you are a buyer you can read the amount that something is worth and you register and

initiate the auction process with the plan to win the auction at a price you

know is going to be lower than brand new, or if it is a collector’s edition, a price

you think is right.
