I have always liked to use different knives for different purposes. I am thinking of buying some Japanese kitchen knives to enhance the knife collection in my kitchen. I am currently contemplating the Misono knife. Some of its qualities are really attractive to me. I might buy a set for myself, and another set to give to my sister who just got married. I should also buy her a Whet stone, otherwise the knives would not be sharpened in the right way. Both of us share the common interest of cooking and want to improve on our skills. I do not have a budget for this purchase so the best quality wins.
