I will never forget the first words he said when he gave the infamous best man speeches. He told the bride and groom that it was an honor for him to be here to share in this glorious day with two people he loved very much. My husband knew that the groom was a rather conservative man and any sarcastic joke would just go over his head. But my husband had spent quality time on that speech. And he wanted it to be perfect.
