The Barefoot running controversy
Health and Fitness June 30th. 2010, 2:16amThere is debate if we should workout without footwear or jog with running shoes? We were apprenltly created to get around without shoes, but which was before concrete had been made and the surfaces that we workout on got tougher. There are two schools of thought about if barefoot running is a great or a negative thing. You can find runners who believe it is an all natural thing to do and it is healthy and stops injury and makes the foot stronger. There are also runners who believe we want pricey running shoes to safeguard all of us from the hard concrete. There’s really no studies in either case regarding which is the better way to run.
