Just before she retired, my mom was in a pretty bad car accident. The guy who hit her didn’t have insurance. On top of that he gave a fake address. Needless to say, he was never heard from again. It’s a very good thing that she carried uninsured motorist insurance. It covered her hospital stay and later visits to a Sherman Oaks Chiropractor. Her recovery was quite extended and she was unable to return to work. She was close to the age to draw social security, so she didn’t have a long time to wait. She still goes to the chiropractor for aftercare.
