This delicious category of grapes is now grown in most parts of the world particularly Italy, the United States and South Africa but no one grows shiraz barossa the way Australia does it. It is not only an extraordinary kind of grape but a wine that has captured the hearts and tastes of wine drinkers. The traditional brand has a super ripe flavor with a dash of coconut and vanilla-scented American oak. It is quite mellow because of oak and low alcohol content. Incidentally, alcohol levels have dropped since wine growers now pick grapes that have ripened and modified the fermentation process.
