My First Computer Had Microsoft Outlook 2003. Wow!

Technology Comments Off

the first outlook that I had was microsoft outlook 2003. It came on the first computer that I had ever owned. My mom had gotten a new computer for herself and handed down her old one to me. I was so thrilled. I was also very nervous. I have never even had a computer, much less one that as far as I was concerned was so new. I had not even had an email address, or had to worry about checking it! Once I had my Internet hooked up, and started using outlook, I wondered how I ever made it without email.

The Spyware Adware Removal Software Super Sale

Technology Comments Off

My next door neighbor works at the huge computer super center downtown, and he’s always telling me about the latest deals they have there. The most recent is this new spyware adware removal software they got. It is supposed to put all the others to shame, and run through your entire system within minutes and literally obliterate any spyware or adware programs you may have on your computer.  He was saying that it has been selling like hot cakes, and that people are really impressed how it sets itself up and takes care of business. He said if I go in when he’s working, I’ll get a discount.

He Wrote the Right Prescription

After driving myself crazy trying to figure things out for myself, I finally threw in the towel and called the computer expert in the family: my brother in law. He always seems to know exactly what to do with any technical upset on my system. If I can’t hack it, he surely can. He took one look at the things that were going on and immediately suggested a complete registry cleaner. He knew that I used the computer a lot and was online, and figured that it had gotten really bogged down with junk. It seems so, because it’s working much better now.

Fixing Computers

Our house has four computers in it. Three of the four have issues but are still usable. My husband’s response whenever a computer acts up is to buy a new one. I think this is stupid but it doesn’t stop him. Now I have to purchase a laptop for my new job. My husband wants to give me his so he can get a new one but I won’t let him. His laptop moves slow. My brother says it’s a registry error and we just need to get a Windows XP registry repair program. I’ll pick one up this weekend when I go out and use it on the three computers that have issues. Maybe it will fix them all.

She’s Glad that She Did

A friend of mine was complaining the other day about updating her computer. She knew that he needed to do it, but it was such a hassle looking for the latest version of everything. I told her about a great site that I had found with free driver update software downloads. All she needed to do was sign up and her computer would take care of the rest. She was worried about viruses but I told her that the site was safe, and that they also wouldn’t share her personal information. She decided to sign up, and she told me that she’s glad that she did.

Submit Your Blog to Find Readers

It is important to submit your blog to directories in order to find readers online. There are thousands of blogs on the internet, and finding the one that suits the needs of a reader is nearly impossible without the help of a directory to bring a reader to a list of blogs that deal with the subject the reader is looking for. Submit your blog to these directories, and it will be found. Announcing your presence among the many sites constantly appearing on the web improves your chance of gaining readership. Readers search directories as a way to find websites that contain the information they desire. There are millions of websites resident on the World Wide Web, and the only way readers will find yours is if you submit your blog to directories. Therefore, you must submit your blog to directories if you want readers to find it. If you do not submit your blog, you might as well not write it. After all, why write a blog if you never intend to have anyone read it? If not submit your blog, then why not simply keep a journal on your personal computer? If you have a website up on the internet and you do not submit your blog to a directory the chances that anyone will read it are slim. If you do not submit your blog to directories readers have no way of knowing that your blog exists. If you do submit your blog to directories in order to allow readers to search for it online, you greatly improve your chances of building a readership. After that, it is up to you to provide interesting and compelling content to draw them in. As long as that content exists and you continue to submit your blog to directories, readers will continue to hit your site.

It looks like the memory size of smart phones are getting larger these days. Well it was just introduced a new range of more environmentally friendly internal hard drives with the F3EG series. The Kindle that amazed me on the train

Technology Comments Off

Last Monday I decided to take the Metro-link from Irvine to Los Angeles to check out a car show that was going on. I had the day off and I didn’t feel like driving. Besides, the ticket for the Metro-link is only six dollars. As I got on the train I sat across from a guy that was holding some sort of electronic device. At first I thought it was some sort of laptop. I asked the fellow about this device and he said that it was a Kindle. He went on to tell me that it holds up to 1500 books at a time. He had bought it after reading a Kindle Review. I can’t remember the last time I was stunned when it came to an electronic device.
