My family is big into airsoft, or rather, my husband’s family is big into airsoft. From his grandfathers to his uncles, parents, and even cousins and nephews, airsoft is a big deal to the Johnson family. Whenever our family gets together, which is about once a month or every other month, they just can’t leave home without their trusted and favorite airsoft guns.

Once they all get together, they examine the new guns in the bunch, debate over which airsoft guns are better, and inevitably wind up in the backyard giving demonstrations with what their guns can do, and airsoft wars will typically erupt without notice. It’s a great time.

There is a lot of good fighters that grow up on the beach. I think the reason for this is there very active growing up, always surfing and swimming and are very outgoing type people. So what if we are senior citizens, we are still organizing into an exercise class to keep moving.  The old slogan says that if we do not move it, we will lose it and our group is not about to concede to that one.  The Eugene Fitness Equipment company has been very encouraging on this journey to better health.  They offered to get our equipment and any sport clothing items with a very generous discount.  In return, our local monthly community newsletter will give free advertising for the business.  Call it the barter system, if you like, but for our situation, it works quite well.

I have done the research and found what I needed to find for the schooling programs that were out there in my area of interest. It is something that I had never considered in the past, but it turns out there are things known as golf college that will train me to do the sort of work that suits me the best. I can work in the management aspect or be more in the hands on part where I am actually out there on the course day after day. I love the idea of both possible choices and I look forward to my future.

I had the pleasure of getting engaged to the man of my dreams last month. We are planning a fall wedding next year, but we want it to be in a tropical place. We decided that a Caribbean SCUBA Dive travel destination would be perfect. Not only could we get married on the beach in our bare feet, but we could also be able to swim with the fish during the reception. I have always said when I get married it would be like no other wedding, and that is exactly what I am planning. It would be a time in my life that I will always remember.

My husband and I were tired of not having enough space to entertain our family and friends. It did not take us long to work out a budget, and remodel the basement. We took the pool table dimensions and incorporated that into our design, and were rolling in not time. Now that everything is finished we are thrilled with the results. The room looks great and that is where you can find us most of the time. We enjoy playing pool and relaxing to great music. Everything came out better than we imagined and people give us compliments all of the time.

Football is one of the best sports to watch and especially to play. My favorite thing about football is that it’s easy to imagine yourself in the game. On the sidelines you feel just as much a part of the game as if you were one of the players. There is  hardly a dull moment and I’m sure that the Wolverhampton Wanderers are a great team to watch or to be a part of.

For those of you that don’t know what butterfly knives are, you might be very surprised to hear that a knife would be named after such a delicate, feminine insect. But in fact they can resemble each other, even more so when handled by someone who is an expert at handling them. A butterfly knife has a handle that splits in two parts and folds up around the blade when not in use for safety and to make it smaller. When needed to take care of game while hunting, a person would flip the handles open, like wings, and they spin around to meet in the person’s hands. Someone who really know what they are doing can do tons of fun and beautiful tricks with the knife that really do make it look like a fluttering butterfly.
