I agree that cyber rudeness, and rudeness in general, are not new. It has become prevalent, even on this legal advice forum, because the rude people do not have to face up to the consequences of their words. This forum is showing the very behavior the article is bemoaning. Instead of discussing the merits of the article, most of the posters are yelling at each other and calling each other names.

I agree with most of the article but think the solution to have safe havens is unrealistic. There is too much touchy-feely in this society. People need to grow up and realize everybody doesn’t like them, and quit trying to be friends with everybody. I accept that some people are bad-asses and not worth associating with.

That’s my sermon for today.
