The affiliate business is about selling other peoples products. There is a whole way of doing this. Many marketers build websites around specific topics that rank well in the search engines and get plenty of targeted traffic.
This is probably the best way to go. There are other ways to go about affiliate marketing like writing articles or PPC marketing but by building sites you have a lot more leverage.
