I Work on a Government Project Involving Flowmeters and the Ocean
Business February 8th. 2010, 11:17amI like my most recent government assignment very much. I have been assigned to a project that is studying tidal gauging through the placement and monitoring of flowmeters. With all the talk of global warming and its effects on the ocean levels, we want to be right there monitoring even the slightest changes. It’s pretty fascinating work, but it also involves a fair amount of somewhat tedious data gathering. I know that’s a necessary part of the job. After all we have to have the data to get the figures to work with. I wonder if we will make some bold new discovery about the ocean all around us.
