The aim of green building construction is to reduce the environmental impact that buildings have on the land. As buildings do account for a large amount of the earths atmosphere, consuming large amounts of water and energy and diminishing the natural resources which are at hand. It makes sense to reduce the impact on which buildings do have, and work more economically in hand with our surroundings. Buildings are much to blame for the consumption of energy which is consumed on a daily basis, and whilst more energy is being consumed, more pollution is being put back into the air which we breathe. We still have a long way to go, but it seems with the smallest changes at hand, we shall be rewarded with better results for a future.
