When my husband and I were young, we purchased a house when we weren’t ready. My husband was fired from his job in the height of the recession. We had no choice but to file for bankruptcy and lose our home. Subsquently, we both had very bad credit after that and have been working on fixing it ever since. I feel like we are doing a pretty good job fixing our bad credit scores. I believe they are in the 700s now. We have paid all our bills on time and have tried not to get too many lines of credit. We have been approved to buy two cars so that is great that we have been able to work this hard and bounce back after just three years!
