Being a native of texas, I always took for granted how reasonable various insurance rates are for this area. Sure I knew it wasn’t the highest or the lowest out there, but I had no idea how much higher some other states charged for car insurance. I am sure some factors like location and regional weather come into play but rates between states can be as different as night and day. In a comparison I did, my texas car insurance quote was much cheaper than the surrounding states. I guess the saying everything is bigger in texas does not apply to car insurance.
